As a Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver exceptional products that meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Understand client needs, gather requirements, and manage expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Requirements Management: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that guide the development process.
- Agile Transformation: Drive the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies within the organization. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. Continuously refine and update user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.
- Product Delivery: Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality products. Provide clarifications, resolve issues, and make informed decisions to keep the project on track.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance, and project managers. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment of goals.
- Product Vision: Develop and maintain a clear product vision, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the overall direction and goals of the project. Continuously communicate and refine the product vision based on client feedback and market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience with agile transformation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with product management tools and techniques, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- 5+ years of work experience in product management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Experience working in a client-facing role, with a track record of successfully delivering products on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
