Positions:

  • POS Support Technician Level 1

Roles and Responsibilities:

Level 1 Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting basic POS system issues, including hardware malfunctions and software glitches.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisor support as necessary.
  • Monitor POS system performance and report recurring problems.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of POS hardware and software for new installations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot other in-store equipment and systems such as Music Management Systems and/or digital menu boards
  • Troubleshoot and manage on-site repair and maintenance of all these systems mentioned above by managing third party vendors who are available to visit on site

Requirement’s:

  • Bachelors in CS with 3-5 years as IT support technician experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, various Windows operating systems, and networking
  • Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends as part of an emergency on-call rotation
  • Good written and oral skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while in the office.
  • Prefer experience in the Food & Beverage POS industry.
  • Experience in configuration, installation & support of hardware or software products.
